Dr. Bassel Ahmed Abdel-Mohsen

- Postgraduate Diploma in Private Law, 2001, grade Good – Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University.

- Certified Arbitrator Certificate from the Middle East Center for International Arbitration, qualifying him to work in the field of domestic and international arbitration.

Worked at the Egyptian Public Prosecution as Deputy to the Public Prosecutor and Head of the East Cairo Accidents Prosecution from October 9, 1991, until July 26, 1994. During his tenure at the Public Prosecution, he investigated numerous criminal cases, the most important of which were:

- Assassination attempt on the late former Prime Minister of Egypt, Atef Sedki.
- Assassination attempt on the Chief Military Prosecutor.
- Murder of workers at a gold jewelry store in the Ain Shams district, Arab Republic of Egypt, and theft of its contents.
- Terrorist acts by the Al-Shawqiyin group, including the killing of Central Security Forces officers in the Matariya district.
- Investigation and prosecution of numerous drug trafficking cases in coordination with the General Administration for Drug Control.
- Investigation into heroin manufacturing cases, notably the felony known at the time as the importation of raw heroin from Pakistan and its processing on Hegaz Street in Heliopolis, Cairo.
- Investigation and prosecution of numerous cases of premeditated murder, often connected with misdemeanors or coupled with other felonies.
- Investigation and prosecution of numerous cases of indecent assault and rape.
- Investigation and prosecution of numerous public funds cases, linked with forgery felonies and related crimes.

Appointed as a Judge at the Primary Courts, then promoted to Chief Judge, Category (B), followed by a promotion to Chief Judge, Category (A), and finally appointed as a Counselor at the High Court of Appeal. He held the following positions:

- Judge at the Bankruptcy Circuit, South Cairo Primary Court.
- Chief Judge of the Mosaqi Misdemeanor Court.
- Enforcement Judge at the Mosaqi Court.
- Chief Judge of the El-Salam Misdemeanor Court.
- Chief Judge of the El-Waily Misdemeanor Court.
- Chief Judge of the Naqada Court (Qena Governorate).
- Chief Judge of the Nasr City Misdemeanor Court.
- Enforcement Judge at the Nasr City Court.
- Chief Judge of the Nasr City Personal Status Court (currently known as the Family Court).
- Chief Judge of the Zeitoun Personal Status Court (currently Family Court).
- Presiding Judge of Civil and Commercial Circuit (No. 44), North Cairo Primary Court.
- Chief Judge of the South Sinai Primary Court.
- Summary Proceedings Judge at the South Sinai Primary Court.
- Summary Proceedings Judge at the South Sinai Primary Court.
- Presiding Judge of the Civil and Commercial Circuit, and the Misdemeanor Appeals Court at the South Sinai Primary Court.
- Counselor (Justice) at the Beni Suef Court of Appeal.
- After serving in the judiciary and practicing law, he pleaded cases before numerous Criminal Courts, as well as before the Court of Cassation, the Supreme Constitutional Court, and the Supreme Administrative Court.

Professional Engagements:

- Participated in a workshop on Intellectual Property and Summary Proceedings, organized by the National Center for Judicial Studies, Ministry of Justice (2006).
- Participated in a specialized training program consisting of seven courses on “Economic Legislation for Economic Courts” (2007).
